Dubai International Airport is one of the world’s finest airports known for its world-class amenities and facilities. At the airport you can find leading designer and luxury brands as well as extensive duty-free shopping, while hungry passengers can choose from one of many places to eat and drink whether it’s convenient fast food or gourmet cuisine you’re after. The airport is made up of three passenger terminals - while Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 are connected to the Dubai Metro, passengers at Terminal 2 will need to catch a free shuttle bus in order to access the metro. Alternatively, you can just as easily find taxis available outside each terminal if you want a direct route to your destination.

Kolkata Airport is the main airport serving the city of Kolkata located 17 km from the city center. The airport is India’s fifth busiest serving around 22 million passengers annually and offers all the amenities and facilities you would expect from a busy airport. The airport recently opened up a new terminal building which manages domestic and international flights so you can easily transfer between flights. At the airport you will find a number of places to eat and drink if you want something before traveling, while the airport also offers duty-free shopping and other general stores. If you need to access the internet whilst waiting for your flight you can visit one of the internet cafes on-site or enjoy up to 30 minutes of free Wi-Fi.

What to Expect in Dubai

Be prepared for the heat in Dubai as the weather is hot all year round, especially during the peak summer months. If you would prefer to avoid the hottest time then you may want to visit between November and February when temperatures are at their coolest. Although many different nationals are permitted to enter Dubai without needing a visa, Indian nationals will have to obtain a visa before traveling in order to enter the country.
