Cairo International Airport is Cairo’s primary airport consisting of three passenger terminals. When your flight has touched down at the airport, the easiest way to travel to your destination is by taxi – the special airport taxis are distinguished by their white color and come with meters. During your time at the airport you will find plenty of amenities and services to ensure your stay is pleasant. Alongside duty-free shopping and other essential shops, the airport is home to a decent selection of cafés and eateries so you can enjoy a meal while you wait to board your flight. You will also be able to get connected to free Wi-Fi during your stay at the airport.
Airport Information - Departing
King Fahd International Airport is located around 50 km outside of the city of Dammam and ranks as one of the largest airports in the world. If you don’t want to pay for a taxi journey to the airport, you can catch the airport shuttle bus which leaves from Dammam bus station and takes roughly 45 minutes. The airport itself offers a good range of amenities including a couple of places to eat, while you will also find all of the essential shops you would expect to pick up some last-minute travel basics.

The weather in the Egyptian capital gets very hot over the summer with average highs of around 34C to be expected, while it stays relatively mild during the winter so you’re unlikely to need a jacket.
