Airport Information - Arriving

Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport is comprised of three passenger terminals, although currently only two are in operation as Terminal 1 is out of use. Terminal 2A is for flights within the Schengen Area, while all other flights are based at Terminal 2B. Getting between the two terminals is straightforward as they are connected by the Sky Court commercial center. At the airport travelers can look forward to enjoying a wide array of amenities in each terminal and at the Sky Court connecting the two terminals. As well as browsing through the latest designer goods or doing a spot of duty free shopping, there are many different places to eat and drink at the airport. Once you have arrived at the airport it is possible to use public transport to reach central Budapest including buses and trains.

Airport Information - Departing

Dubai International Airport is the main airport serving Dubai handling over 80 million travelers a year. The airport is renowned for its huge variety of shops, restaurants and other amenities such as luxurious airport lounges, so you won’t be short on things to do or places to eat at the airport. You can also find extensive duty free shopping alongside the world’s leading designer and luxury brands as well as all the basic travel shops you would expect. The airport itself is made up of three passenger terminals and is easily reachable as Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 are connected to the Dubai Metro.

What to Expect in Budapest

If you are visiting Budapest in the summer you can expect excellent sunny weather, although be prepared for the cold in winter as temperatures can drop to below freezing at times. Hungary is part of the Schengen Area and allows visitors from many countries including the UAE to enter without requiring a visa. Once you have landed in Budapest make sure you put your clocks back two hours to be on local time.
