Airport Information - Arriving

London Heathrow Airport is London’s main airport and also the busiest airport in Europe and consists of four passenger terminals. The airport offers an excellent variety of facilities and services for travelers to look forward to. Along with its many duty-free and designer shops, you will have a huge choice of restaurants, cafés and bars to select from. Other facilities available include free Wi-Fi access, many luxurious airport lounges and children’s play areas to keep the kids happy. There are several transportation options available at the airport which is well-connected to the city of London and the wider region. The fastest way to get into central London is on the Heathrow Express train which will only take you 15 minutes, or you can use the London Underground metro or catch a taxi/bus instead.

London Gatwick Airport is London’s second busiest airport comprised of two passenger terminals. When you arrive Gatwick you are only a 30-minute train journey away from London on the Gatwick Express train. Alternatively, taxis are readily available as are many different bus and coach services which can connect you to other cities in the UK. The airport offers an excellent range of amenities and facilities including duty-free shopping, many retail and fashion stores and plenty of cafés and restaurants for hungry passengers. Free Wi-Fi connectivity is also available if you need to access the web.

London Stansted Airport is the third busiest airport serving London housed within a single terminal complex. It will only take you 45 minutes to reach central London from the airport by hopping on the Stansted Express train, while there are also buses and taxis readily available if you would prefer. Alternatively, you could consider car rental in London. Although the options at the airport are not as extensive as London’s two main airports, you’ll still find everything you could possibly need including many different cafés, eateries and restaurants as well as extensive duty-free and retail shopping. Free Wi-Fi is also available so you can browse the web to pass the time.

Airport Information - Departing

Dubai International Airport is one of the world’s finest airports and also the busiest in terms of international passenger traffic having handled almost 90,000,000 travelers in 2018. The airport is comprised of three passenger terminals which are linked together by metro or bus if you need to transfer. The most convenient way to reach the airport is on the Dubai Metro which will take you to Terminal 1 or Terminal 3, while there are also public bus services available from central Dubai. If you are catching flights with Emirates you will need to make your way to Terminal 3 which is where all Emirates flights are based. Otherwise, the majority of long-haul international flights are handled at Terminal 1 which is where you will catch flights with both British Airways and Virgin Atlantic.

You will be able to enjoy a spectacular variety of amenities and facilities at Dubai International Airport which is renowned for its world-class range of luxury shops, duty-free shopping areas and plenty more fashion and retail stores. If you are feeling hungry you can enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants and fast food chains or grab a quick coffee at a café. There are many other luxuries provided at the airport including complimentary Wi-Fi access, many world-class airport lounges, rest zones and even indoor gardens to relax before your journey.

What to Expect in London

London is one of the world’s most iconic cities home to an endless range of attractions, historic wonders and modern delights. The weather in the city will be a lot cooler compared to Dubai no matter the time of year, although summers in London are often warm and pleasant with average highs of around 23 degrees in July and August. Be sure to bring plenty of warm clothing with you if you visit over the winter as temperatures can get very chilly and rainfall is also fairly frequent. There are lots of hotels in London catering for every budget. UAE nationals catching flights to the UK can go online before your journey and get an electronic visa waiver (EVW) which will be valid for a period of up to six months.
