Dubai International Airport is one of the world’s busiest airports having handled close to 90 million travelers in 2018 and is located just 5 km from Dubai’s center. The airport is comprised of three passenger terminals and is linked to the wider Dubai area by public transport including the Dubai metro system. You can also find taxis available at all hours of the day outside of the passenger terminal and there are many leading car rental companies if you fancy driving your own vehicle around. The airport is known for its world-class amenities and services so you won’t be bored as you wait for your flight. Spend your time browsing through the iconic designer shops and duty-free goods, or satisfy your appetite at one of the many restaurants, fast food chains and cafés available. Other amenities provided at the airport include free Wi-Fi connectivity, several luxurious airport lounges and even rest zones where you can catch up on some sleep.
Airport Information - Departing
Islamabad International Airport is a brand-new airport in Islamabad which replaced the now unused Benazir Bhutto International Airport in May 2018. The airport is situated around 20 km from the center of Islamabad and has the capacity to serve up to 15 million passengers which will increase to 25 million once it is complete. Although the airport’s commercial lots are not all occupied as the airport is still undergoing development, you’ll still find a decent range of amenities and services to meet your needs including duty-free shopping and a food court area.
What to Expect in Dubai
There are a wide variety of hotels in Dubai so you're sure to find something that suits your needs. In Dubai, the weather is warm all year round with temperatures getting particularly hot over the summer when average highs exceed 41 degrees. The peak travel season in the city is during the cooler months from October until March, although Dubai offers many excellent things to do all year round.
