flydubai Launches New Routes to Europe
flydubai has announced the start of two new routes to Europe.
Daily flights to Budapest will start on June 27, 2019 and will be in addition to the current service offered by Emirates.
The budget airline will operate up to five flights a week to Naples from June 4, 2019, becoming the first UAE carrier to offer direct flights to the Italian city.
Emirates will codeshare on both routes, which will operate from Terminal 3 at Dubai International.
flydubai will operate the new routes on the brand-new Boeing 737 MAX 8, which features a flat-bed in business class.
flydubai’s route network in Europe currently includes 24 points in Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland, Italy, Macedonia (FYROM), Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Turkey and Ukraine.
flydubai announces new direct flights from Dubai to Uzbekistan
From 11th March 2019, flydubai will be operating a five times weekly service to Tashkent, Uzbekistan, increasing to daily from 21st May 2019.
flydubai is the first UAE national carrier to offer direct flights to Tashkent, adding to its roster which already includes more than 30 weekly flights to destinations in Central Asia that include Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Almaty, Astana and Kazakhstan.
Air Arabia introduce flights to Prague & Belgrade
Air Arabia has introduced new flights to two European destinations, Prague in the Czech Republic, and Belgrade in Serbia – both direct from Sharjah, UAE.
The Prague service operates five times a week, every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Launching June 28th, 2019, the Belgrade service will fly to the Serbian capital four times a week.
Travelers from the UAE now have new routes to reach popular attractions in Prague like Charles Bridge, Prague Castle and Wenceslas Square, and the awe inspiring architecture in the Balkan capital.
Air Arabia, currently operates flights to more than 150 routes across the globe from four hubs located in the Middle East and North Africa.
Etihad Airways introduce more flights to Barcelona
Abu Dhabi airline Etihad Airways plans to introduce its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft on its Barcelona route from February 22, 2019.
The Dreamliner will replace the two-class Airbus A330-200 that currently operates the five-times weekly route – launched in November.
Etihad will increase frequency to a permanent daily operation from March 31.
Emirates introduce A830 flights to Glasgow
Emirates have announced that they will introduce an A830 service from Dubai to Glasgow Airport. The flight will operate from April 2019 on a daily basis throughout the summer season until the end of October.
The move marks the first time the popular super jumbo aircraft will operate on a scheduled basis to Scotland with Glasgow Airport confirming that they will spend £8m to invest in infrastructure to make sure they are fully prepared. Emirates Expands Codeshare with South African Airways
Emirates Airline has announced a new deal that will expand its partnership with South Africa’s flag carrier. The Dubai-based airline and South African Airways are expanding their code share agreement, opening up new routes from the UAE for both carriers through Dubai International Airport.
Flights from Dubai to Stansted Airport
Emirates recently introduced daily flights to Stansted Airport in the United Kingdom.
Emirates is the first airline to operate a direct flight linking Dubai and Stansted, which has transport links with London and the south of England.
The service runs on the Boeing 777-300ER which has improved business and economy class cabins as well as fully enclosed private suites in first class.
China Eastern fly from Dubai to Shanghai
China Eastern recently introduced three new weekly non-stop flights between Dubai International Airport and Shanghai.
The new route from the UAE provides better flight options between the two destinations, in addition to the already existing flights between Shanghai and Dubai that have a stopover in Kunming.
Emirates also operate direct flights between Dubai and China’s biggest city.
Air India Express increases flights to Kannur
Air India Express announced in January that it was launching additional flights on its popular UAE to Kannur routes.
Launching on March 31st 2019, the new services will see a daily service between Sharjah and the Indian coastal city, as well as two more flights on the Abu Dhabi schedule.
Fly from Dubai to Kozhikode in Kerala
flydubai have recently launched flights from Dubai International Airport to Kozhikode Calicut International Airport in Kerala, India. The airline is now operating flights on this new route three times a week. This expands flydubai’s routes to India, which now includes 30 weekly flights connecting Dubai with eight destinations in India.
flydubai add weekly flights to Saudi Arabia
In good news for travelers searching for cheap flights to Saudi Arabia, flydubai have announced an additional flight to Riyadh and five new flights to Hofuf each week.
Dubai-based flydubai have added the daily flight to Riyadh Airport and will begin five flights a week to Hofuf Airport on March 16.
The airline now flies to 11 cities in Saudi Arabia from Dubai, including Abha, Dammam, Hail, Jeddah, Jizan, Medina, Qassim, Riyadh, Tabuk and Taif providing plenty of opportunity to find cheap flights for your next vacation.
Increased flights from Abu Dhabi to London Heathrow
Travelers will have more opportunity to book cheap flights to London Heathrow when Etihad Airways increase flights to meet peak demand during the month of April. Starting on April 5, a two class Boeing 787-9 will fly four daily services, up from the usual schedule of three services.The flights during this busy time for travel, including school holidays, will provide more flexibility for traveling between the two capital cities.
