With 21 million residents, the sprawling capital of the Sindh province, Karachi is a loud, bustling, chaotic experience. This colorful, full of life city lies on the eastern coast of the Arabian Sea and is at the forefront of Pakistan’s economy. It boasts a myriad of architectural styles from traditional ramshackle bazaars, historic mosques and elegant colonial buildings to contemporary shopping malls, modern restaurant and superhighways. This mega city is filled with museums and art, fine dining, film, fashion and cafe culture but to get away from it all is not hard, with mountain treks and long golden sandy beaches.
