Airport Information - Departing

Amsterdam Airport, known as Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, is the busiest airport in the Netherland’s located 9km outside of the city. The airport is comprised of a single terminal building split up into three departure halls. While Departure Hall 1 is reserved for Schengen area flights, Departure Halls 2 and 3 operate non-Schengen flights. You can easily get between departure halls on foot so you don’t need to worry about transferring between flights. You can find a large number of amenities at the airport including many in the Schiphol Plaza area. Alongside duty free shopping and designer stores, the airport boasts many places to eat and drink to enjoy a bite to eat before flying out.
