How to Check in

Passengers flying with Delta are able to check-in online from 24 hours before your flight. After checking-in online, passengers will either need to print out their boarding pass or receive an eBoarding Pass on your mobile device at select airports. Delta passengers can also take advantage of the Fly Delta app on your phone which enables you to check-in easily. Alternatively, passengers can just as easily check-in at the airport at a designated Delta kiosk or benefit from the airline’s Airport Curbside service which takes care of all of your baggage.

Baggage Allowances and Fees

Delta passengers are permitted one item of checked baggage as well as a personal item to take on-board, although some flights around South America will charge a fee of 92AED* for checked baggage. Checked baggage must not exceed 23kg or 157cm in dimensions or you will be subjected to excess baggage charges. If you do require additional baggage allowances, during the online check-in process you can pay for additional checked baggage. The fees for additional or excess baggage vary according to destination but can be paid at the airport or online.


As well as standard Economy fares, those traveling with Delta can choose to upgrade to Economy Comfort which provides up to 4 additional inches of legroom and front-row seating to ensure quick boarding and disembarking. Passengers flying in Business Class can look forward to 60 inches of legroom and reclining seats to ensure your journey is as comfortable as possible. Economy Class passengers are able to customize their journey with the option to sit in preferred seats.

Booking Fees

Passengers on international routes can be subjected to additional bag fees. Those traveling on an international flight with Delta are advised to contact the airline to get up to date information on the fees for your flight.

On Board Service

A wide selection of meals and drinks are available to passengers depending on your flight route. On all flights, travelers can enjoy a range of snacks and drinks as well as coffee and alcoholic beverages. Delta also cater towards those with special dietary requirements with 17 different special meals available. If requiring a special meal, passengers will need to book this with the airline at least 24 hours before your flight.
