The city of Bengaluru, known also as Bangalore, is served by Kempegowda International Airport which is located roughly 40km (25 miles) from the city center. If you are flying from Bengaluru to Dubai you can travel with Air India, Emirates and IndiGo, with all flights arriving at Dubai International Airport (DXB), not be confused with Dubai’s other airport, Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC).

Airport Information - Arriving
Dubai International Airport is the primary airport serving Dubai handling almost 90 million travelers a year. The airport is home to three passenger terminals - while Terminals 1 and 3 are connected to the Dubai Metro, those based at Terminal 2 will have to use the free shuttle bus provided. Many visitors to Dubai rent a car to explore the wider UAE region including the nearby cities of Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. You won’t be short on things to do at the airport as it is home to a spectacular array of shops including luxury brands, duty-free goods and much more. You will also be able to dine at one of many restaurants, cafes and eateries to satisfy your appetite before continuing your journey. Getting from Dubai International Airport into central Dubai is possible on the Dubai Metro from Terminal 1 or Terminal 3, or you can find taxis outside any terminal 24 hours a day.
Airport Information - Departing
Kempegowda International Airport is India’s third busiest airport with over 20 million passengers passing through each year. The airport itself consists of a single passenger terminal which offers all of the amenities and services you would need for a pleasant stay, while there are also plans to open up a second terminal by 2022. As well as offering a selection of cafes and eateries, there are a few basic stores on site to purchase any last-minute goods as well as duty-free shops. Once you have landed there is an airport bus that can take you into the city, or you can find taxis outside of the terminal building if you would prefer.
What to Expect in Dubai
There are a wide variety of hotels in Dubai so you're sure to find something that suits your needs. In Dubai you can expect the weather to be hot no matter what time of year it is, although temperatures do cool down significantly over the winter between December and March. Although many nationals are able to enter Dubai without needing a visa, Indian citizens will first have to get a visa before traveling. In Dubai you can conveniently get around and explore the city using the Dubai Metro, although there are plenty of car rental options.
