Athens International Airport is located around 30 km from central Athens and consists of a main passenger terminal as well as a satellite terminal. Dubai International Airport is Dubai’s primary airport and consists of three passenger terminals. All passengers flying with Emirates will depart out of Terminal 3. This terminal is conveniently connected to the Dubai Metro if you don’t plan on driving or paying for a taxi. Explore the leading designer and luxury brands or do some duty-free shopping before catching your flight. Alternatively, you can enjoy a meal or a quick drink at one of many restaurants and eateries. What to Expect in Athens

UAE nationals catching flights to Greece won’t need to get a visa as the country is within the Schengen Area. This allows you to stay visa free for up to 90 days. The weather in Athens isn’t as hot as Dubai but will still be very warm in the summer with average highs of around 33 degrees. However, temperatures are much milder in the winter so you may want to bring something warm for the evenings.
