Porto Airport is a relatively small airport that is home to a single passenger terminal, although you will be able to find all of the amenities and services you would need. One of the easiest ways to travel into the city center from the airport is on the Metro, although you can also hop on the AeroBus or flag down a taxi to make the journey. There are also numerous car rental options in Porto. As well as a range of cafes, retail stores and duty-free shopping, travelers are able to enjoy unlimited free Wi-Fi at the airport, while families travelling with children can visit one of the airport’s play areas to keep the kids occupied.

Madrid Airport is the busiest airport in Spain and also one of Europe’s largest made up of four passenger terminals. Getting to the airport from the center of Madrid is possible in a number of ways including on the Metro Line 8 or by public bus, while you can transfer between terminals using the shuttle bus provided by the airport. The airport offers a large number of amenities such as restaurants, cafes and shops including duty-free shopping, while you can also benefit from free Wi-Fi. If you prefer to wait for your flights somewhere more private, you may consider entering one of the airport lounges where you can benefit from amenities such as refreshments and comfortable seating.
What to Expect in Porto
In Porto the weather is generally similar to Madrid so you should not expect too much of a difference in the climate. As you will be travelling within the Schengen Area there is no need to get a visa as an EU citizen, while UAE nationals are also able to travel without a visa. Remember Porto is 1 hour behind Madrid so remember to put your clocks back when you arrive.
