Aeromexico is the flag carrier of Mexico operating flights to over 80 destinations across the world. How to Check in

Passengers flying with Aeromexico are able to check-in either online, by mobile or the conventional way at the airport. The online check-in tool is available up to 48 hours before domestic flights and 24 hours before international flights, closing 2 hours before scheduled flight departure times. During the online check-in process passengers are issued a boarding pass which will need to be printed out and taken with you to the airport. Alternatively, checking in at the airport is a straightforward process, although the time you need to be at the airport varies according to whether you have baggage or a boarding pass. Those without a boarding pass on international flights are advised to be at the check-in counter at least 3 hours before flights.

Baggage Allowances and Fees

Aeromexico permit passengers to bring checked baggage, although exactly how much will depend upon your route. For all domestic flight within Mexico, the airline allow Economy passengers to bring one item up to 25kg, while those flying with a Clase Premier ticket are entitled to bring two bags no heavier than 30kg in total. Additionally, one item of hand baggage to take on board is permitted up to 10kg for Economy and 18kg for Clase Premier passengers. Allowances on international routes vary widely, so it is advisable to check directly with the airline for information about your flight. Travelers are also able to purchase additional baggage - it is advisable to pre-book baggage at least 24 hours before flights in order to get the best rates.


Aeromexico flights offer a standard Economy Class as well as a more luxurious Clase Premier Class for those looking to fly in style. Passengers flying in Economy are afforded ample legroom with a seat pitch of 31-34 inches, while those in Clase Premier seats can look forward to reclining chairs with a seat pitch of 36-60 inches.
