Direct flights to Ireland from the UAE
If you are traveling to Ireland from the UAE you can fly out of Dubai International Airport or Abu Dhabi International Airport if you want to catch direct flights. If you are flying out of Dubai International Airport you can make the journey with Emirates, while those from Abu Dhabi International Airport can catch flights with Etihad Airways.
Dubai International Airport is the busiest airport in the UAE comprised of three passenger terminals. The easiest way to reach the airport from Dubai is on the Dubai Metro which can take you directly to Terminal 1 or Terminal 3 – the terminal you will be flying out of with Emirates is Terminal 3.
Abu Dhabi International Airport is situated roughly 30 km from Abu Dhabi and is home to three passenger terminals. If you don’t want to take a taxi to get to the airport then you can catch a bus to make the journey.

The only airport in Ireland that handles flights from the UAE is Dublin Airport, the busiest in the country. You can fly to Dublin Airport from both Abu Dhabi and Dubai with Etihad Airways and Emirates.
Dublin Airport is comprised of two passenger terminals and offers plenty of amenities and facilities for travelers to enjoy. When your flight has touched down at the airport you can make your way into Dublin by public transport, although the airport is only 10 km from Dublin so a taxi trip is affordable. Alongside a broad range of retail and duty-free shopping to complement its various restaurants and cafes, while you can also enjoy free Wi-Fi during your time at the airport.

The weather in Ireland is at its best over the summer if you like warm weather with Dublin enjoying highs of close to 20 degrees. The weather does get fairly chilly during the winter so if you don’t like the cold you may want to visit sometime between May and October to avoid the worst of it.
