Muscat International Airport is situated 32 km from central Muscat and is the main hub of Oman Air, the national carrier of the country. Oman enjoys warm weather all year round and experiences pleasant winters where temperatures can reach cool levels at night. Summer temperatures can become very hot at peak times of the day between June and August, which is not ideal for people looking to stay out in the sun.
