Arriving In Palau
The main airport serving Palau is Roman Tmetuchl International Airport, although the airport also goes by the name of Palau International Airport. The airport itself is located just 6 km away from Koror and 25 km away from the capital Ngerulmud. The airport primarily handles regional flights and does not have any direct connections to the UAE, so travelers based in the UAE looking to travel to Palau will need to make a stopover somewhere.
Roman Tmetuchl International Airport is set within a single terminal complex and offers only a basic range of amenities, so don’t forget to bring any essential items you desperately need along with you. When your flight has touched down at the airport you can find taxis available just outside of the terminal building, or you may want to prearrange private transportation yourself.
