Reasons To Visit Samoa

Enjoying an isolated location in the South Pacific Ocean, Samoa is a natural paradise offering a wealth of exciting outdoor opportunities and beauty spots. There are plenty of national parks located across the two main islands of Samoa – check out the stunning Lake Lanoto’o National Park or take a trip through the rainforest at the Falealupo Rainforest Reserve. As the island remains quite sparsely populated, many of its most picturesque beaches are virtually uninhabited which allows travelers to enjoy their very own private beach in some parts. Those with a love of culture will be pleased with what is on offer in the country including some fascinating museums like the Museum of Samoa in the capital Apia or some of the traditional Samoan villages in the countryside.

Arriving In Samoa

The main international airport serving Samoa is Faleolo International Airport which is located around 40 km from the capital Apia. If you are looking to travel from the UAE to Samoa directly, it is not currently possible as there are no carriers providing nonstop flights. However, it is possible to travel to Samoa with only a single stopover as the airport has a few connections abroad.

At Faleolo International Airport you will find a basic range of amenities to meet your needs. Alongside a couple of eateries on site, you can find souvenir and travel shops to get your essentials. When you have landed at the airport you can use buses to travel around if you are on a budget, although there are plenty of taxis available just outside of the airport if you would rather reach your destination directly.
