Cheap Flights from Abu Dhabi to Hyderabad

Airport Information - Arriving

Hyderabad Airport, known in full as Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, is comprised of a single terminal complex and is situated around 25 km from central Hyderabad. The most popular way to travel into the city from the airport is to catch a taxi, but there are local buses offering a cheaper mode of transport. Car rental is also an option. There are many restaurants, eateries and cafés open at the airport, so you have plenty of choices if you are feeling hungry. You can also do some duty-free shopping during your stay or explore the range of retail, travel and gift shops. Free Wi-Fi connectivity is available for a period of up to 45 minutes and there are also a few airport lounges available.

Airport Information - Departing

Abu Dhabi International Airport is located 30 km from the center of Abu Dhabi and is set across three passenger terminals. There are buses available from Abu Dhabi running to the airport if you don’t want to take a taxi or drive yourself. If necessary, you can catch the complimentary shuttle bus which runs between all passenger terminals every 15-20 minutes. At Abu Dhabi International Airport, Terminal 3 is where all Etihad Airways flights are based. You can pass the time by exploring the airport’s fantastic facilities including many designer and luxury shops, duty-free shopping areas and an extensive selection of restaurants and cafés. You may also consider waiting for your flights in one of the luxurious airport lounges. Other amenities on offer include free Wi-Fi access, rest zones and children’s play areas to keep the kids happy.

What to Expect in Hyderabad

There are lots of great hotel options in Hyderabad, catering for every budget. Hyderabad gets very hot during the summer which sees average highs of over 39 degrees in May. There is a rainy season in the city from June until September but it is not as severe as other regions of India. You can go online and get an e-visa before your trip to Hyderabad if you are a UAE national which will let you stay for up to 60 days. Prices in Hyderabad will be a lot lower than Abu Dhabi so you won’t need a massive budget to have a great time.
