Currently it is only possible to fly from Dubai International Airport to Bahrain as there are no flights originating from Al Maktoum International Airport, Dubai’s other international airport. Bahrain International Airport is the main airport in the country just outside of Manama. The airport has two passenger terminals which both offer a wide range of amenities for travelers including duty-free shopping and a selection of eateries and cafes. Getting from Bahrain International Airport into central Manama is quick and easy — many opt to hop in a taxi, although you can just as easily rent a car at the airport.
There are also three premium airport lounges available at Bahrain International Airport for those who like to wait for flights in luxury. The Gulf Air Business and First Class Lounge is exclusive to Gulf Air travelers, while both the Marhaba Lounge and Dilmun Lounge are open to all travelers for a fee.
