Airport Information - Arriving
Dubai International Airport is renowned as one of the world’s finest airport offering a huge selection of amenities and facilities. At the airport travelers can browse through the latest designer and luxury goods as well as duty free shopping to get what you need before your journey. There are also many places to eat and drink located around the airport with everything from quick fast food to high-end restaurants available. The airport is comprised of three passenger terminals which are all relatively easy to reach from one another. While Terminals 1 and 3 are part of the Dubai Metro network, travelers needing to get to Terminal 2 will need to use the free shuttle bus service.
Airport Information - Departing
Mangalore International Airport is made up of two passenger terminals, although they are both situated within the same terminal complex so getting between terminals is not a hassle. Terminal 2 is the international terminal, while Terminal 1 is used for domestic flights. The airport offers a decent selection of amenities including duty free shopping in Terminal 2 as well as a number of places to eat and refuel. Most travelers will hop in a taxi in order to get to and from central Mangalore and there is a prepaid taxi counter operating 24 hours a day.
What to Expect in Dubai
The weather in Dubai stays hot all year round so be prepared for the heat. If you want to visit when things are a little cooler then any time between October and April will be ideal. While many nationals including those from the EU (excluding the UK) are permitted visa-free entry into the country, nationals from India will be required to obtain a visa in advance before traveling.
