Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport is the main airport in Taiwan located approximately 40 km from Taipei. The airport is made up of two passenger terminals and there are plans to open up an additional terminal in 2023. Upon arriving at the airport there are plenty of ways to reach your destination including public transport, with both bus and train services running into Taipei as well as car rental services. Additionally, metered taxis can be found outside of the terminals at all hours of the day. The amenities and facilities at the airport are very good so you won’t be lacking in options. The airport also provides travelers with free Wi-Fi access and there are a few internet stations across the airport.
