Jeju Air

Jeju Air is a low-cost airline based in South Korea, offering a variety of international flights alongside domestic routes. Based in Jeju City with three operating hubs, Jeju International Airport, Gimpo International Airport and Incheon International Airport, Jeju Air operates flights to 30 destinations across Asia including China, Japan and Thailand. Currently flying with a fleet of 27 aircraft, Jeju Air has grown significantly since its establishment in 2005 and is now a part of Value Alliance since 2016.

How to Check in

Passengers flying with Jeju Air are able to check-in online on all domestic flights as well as international flights leaving Incheon International Airport except those to Thailand. Checking in online is available from 24 hours up to 30 minutes before domestic flights and 90 minutes before international flights. Passengers are also able to receive a mobile boarding pass to save time at the airport. Alternatively, checking in at the airport is just as straightforward - the airline advises passengers to arrive at the airport 2 hours before international flights and 40 minutes before domestic flights.

Baggage Allowances and Fees

Travelers on Jeju Air flights are entitled to bring baggage to check-in, although how much you are allowed depends on your destination. On domestic flights passengers can bring up to 15kg, while on international flights barring those to the United States travelers are allowed one item up to 20kg on a Regular fare or 15kg on a Special fare - those with a Saver fare are not given any checked baggage allowance. Excess baggage fees apply for those with overweight baggage - a flat rate of 6.5AED* per kg on domestic flights applies, while for international flights fees are calculated on a zone basis. Travelers are also able to bring hand baggage on board flights as part of the fare with one item up to 10kg allowed.

On Board Service

Passengers on board Jeju Air flights can enjoy a selection of food and beverages from the Air Café Service, available on flights from Incheon International Airport, Gimpo International Airport and on domestic routes. A range of light meals, sandwiches and snacks can be purchased alongside beverages and hot drinks to stay refreshed during your journey.
