Nouvelair, also known as Nouvelair Tunisie, is a Tunisian airline operating flights primarily to and from European destinations. While the main operating hub of the airline is Monastir International Airport, it also has additional bases at Tunis-Carthage International Airport and Djerba-Zarzis Airport. As well as its European flights, Nouvelair serves 25 destinations in all including Turkey and Iran. Initially established in 1989 under the name of Air Liberte Tunisie as an affiliate of Air Liberte, a French airline, Nouvelair has grown to possess a fleet of 9 aircraft and over 600 employees.

How to Check in

Passengers catching a flight with Nouvelair will be able to check in to their flight the old fashioned way at the airport as the airline does not yet support online check ins. All you have to do to check in is simply visit a Nouvelair check in counter at the airport to go through the process. Make sure you get to the airport with plenty of time to spare before your flight just in case of long queues and remember to bring your booking reference and passport.

Baggage Allowances and Fees

Travelers on board Nouvelair flights are entitled to bring baggage to check in as part of the fare, although allowances vary according to your destination. Be sure to check directly with the airline about the allowances on your flight. Excess baggage fees also apply if you go over your limit at a rate of 30AED* per kilo online, while rates are a little bit more expensive at the airport. As well as checked baggage, travelers are allowed to bring hand baggage on board flights of either 5kg or 7kg depending on your destination.

On Board Service

On board Nouvelair flights passengers can enjoy a range of amenities to ensure your journey is pleasant and memorable. If you have some last minute gifts you want to pick up, the airline offers in-flight duty free shopping. While you are allowed to bring your own food on board flights, drinks are not allowed for safety reasons.
