Olympic Air

Olympic Air is a Greek airline and a subsidiary of Aegean Airlines, the largest airline in Greece. Olympic Air's main hub is Athens International Airport as well as a secondary hub at Rhodes International Airport, flying to 29 domestic destinations across Greece. Founded in 2009, Olympic Air was originally a standalone airline before its purchase by Aegean Airlines in 2013. The airline has a fleet of 16 aircraft and is a member of Star Alliance.

How to Check in

Those catching a flight with Olympic Air are able to check-in either online from the convenience of your home or hotel, or you can do things the old fashioned way by checking in at the airport. The online check-in service is available from 48 hours up to 30 minutes before scheduled departure times and passengers are also able to receive a mobile boarding pass or print one out in addition to selecting a seat. You can still check-in at the airport if necessary at a self-service kiosk or airport counter up to 30 minutes before flights.

Baggage Allowances and Fees

Olympic Air permits passengers to bring baggage to check-in free of charge, although your allowance depends on your flight class. Those flying in Economy are entitled to bring one bag up to 23kg, while in Business Class this is increased to two bags up to 32kg each. Allowances can differ on some international routes, so it is recommended to check with the airline about allowances on your flight. Additionally, all travelers with a GoLight Economy Class fare are only able to bring checked baggage for an additional fee. All passengers are also permitted to bring one item of hand baggage on board flights no heavier than 8kg or larger than 50cm x 40cm x 23cm, increased to two items up to 12kg in total in Business Class. Those with excess baggage will be charged additional fees which vary according to the length of your flight.

Olympic Air flights offer a standard Economy Class in addition to a premium Business Class for those looking to travel in style. There are two fare options available in Economy - GoLight and Flex. Those sitting in Business Class can look forward to superior seating and generous legroom to make your journey as pleasant as possible.
