There are currently two passenger terminals at Thiruvananthapuram Airport with plans underway to construct a third. Terminal 1 is dedicated exclusively to domestic operations, whereas Terminal 2 handles all International flights as well as domestic routes with Air India.

There are a few different ways to get to and from Thiruvananthapuram Airport including public transport. A bus runs from the airport to the East Fort bus station within the city and takes around 30 minutes. Taxis can be booked on a pre-paid basis by visiting the taxi kiosk in the Arrivals hall of each terminal.
