In Bahrain the weather is very hot over the summer with highs of around 38 degrees, so you may want to visit during the winter period between November and March if you want to avoid the heat. There are public buses available in Bahrain that can take you around the city, although you may want to rent a car at the airport if you are unfamiliar with local bus routes.
