Why You Should Visit Bordeaux

Arriving In Bordeaux
Bordeaux-Merignac Airport is situated just over 10 km from Bordeaux and is comprised of three passenger terminals. It is easy to get into the center of Bordeaux from the airport with the airport express bus, although there are also other modes of public transport available alongside taxis. Inside the airport you will find a decent range of services and amenities including a few cafés and eateries alongside duty-free shopping, while the airport also provides travelers with free Wi-Fi for up to two hours.
If you are looking to catch flights from the UAE to Bordeaux there are no airlines providing direct flights so you will need to transfer. The airport has connections to plenty of airports around Europe such as Madrid, Brussels and Paris Charles de Gaulle, so UAE travelers will be able to make the journey with just one stopover.

The city itself has an excellent public transport network consisting of buses and trams, while there are a variety of car rental companies at Bordeaux-Merignac Airport for those looking for their own vehicle. In Bordeaux you can expect average highs of around 27 degrees during July and August, although temperatures can get cold if you are visiting during the winter.
