Airport Information - Arriving
Bordeaux-Merignac Airport is made up of three passenger terminals and is located around 10 km from central Bordeaux. Alternatively, you could consider renting a car in Bordeaux. The airport offers a good range of facilities and services to meet the needs of passengers. There are a few different eateries at the airport as well as retail and duty-free shopping, while you can also connect to the airport’s free Wi-Fi network to enjoy up to two hours of free Wi-Fi access.
Airport Information - Departing
Dubai International Airport is the main airport in Dubai and also the UAE’s busiest airport set across three passenger terminals. You can use the Dubai Metro to access the airport directly as it goes to Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, while public bus services are also available if you don’t want to pay for a taxi. The airport is known for its extensive range of luxury shops, retail stores and duty-free goods and is also home to a wide selection of cafés, restaurants and fast food chains. Other luxuries available at the airport include several airport lounges, complimentary Wi-Fi access and rest zones with sleeping pods for weary passengers.
Al Maktoum International Airport is Dubai’s secondary airport located around 40 km from the city center. The airport currently handles a small range of flights, most of which are seasonal flights, as the airport is still a project under construction. You will still be able to find all of the essential facilities and services you would need including plenty of retail and duty-free shops as well as a variety of dining and drinking establishments. If you don’t want to pay for a private taxi or drive your own vehicle, there are public bus services available from central Dubai running to the airport.
What to Expect in Bordeaux
