Sydney Kingsford Smith International Airport, often shortened to Sydney Airport, is the primary airport serving Sydney and also the busiest in Australia located less than 15 km from the city center. The airport consists of three passenger terminals, with the majority of international flights based out of Terminal 1. Once your flight has touched down at the airport there are several ways that you can travel into the city and the wider area. By train you can reach central Sydney in less than 15 minutes on the Airport Link and several bus routes also serve the wider city area. Alternatively, taxis are available 24 hours a day and several leading car rental companies are available if you want your own vehicle to explore Sydney.
Sydney Airport is home to a huge variety of amenities and services for travelers to look forward to. You’ll find all kinds of shops in the airport selling everything from luxury goods to duty-free products, while there are also many different restaurants, cafés and fast food outlets to choose from. Free Wi-Fi access is available for travelers and there are also several luxurious airport lounges where you can wait for your flights in great comfort.
If you are looking to catch flights from the UAE to Sydney you will be able to fly directly from both Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Flights from Dubai International Airport are handled by Emirates, the flag carrier of Dubai, while flights from Abu Dhabi International Airport are operated by Etihad Airways, Abu Dhabi’s flag carrier.

The currency you will need during a visit to Australia is the Australian dollar, while the local time zone is seven hours ahead of the UAE.
