Airport Information - Arriving
Shanghai Pudong International Airport is the main international airport in Shanghai situated around 30km from the city. There are many dining and drinking establishments available for a meal or a quick drink in addition to an array of shops to pick up all your essentials. The airport is comprised of two passenger terminals and the newest is Terminal 2, which was inaugurated in 2008. One of the easiest ways to reach central Shanghai once you have landed is on the Shanghai Metro Line 2, although there are also many airport buses available.
Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport
Airport Information - Departing
Beijing Capital International Airport is the main airport in Beijing comprised of three passenger terminals. As you would expect of a large modern airport, there are a wide range of shops to browse through including the latest designer and luxury goods and basic travel shops for all your essentials. The airport also offers a varied selection of places to eat and drink whether it’s somewhere to have a quick snack or to sit down with a meal. The quickest way to reach the airport from central Beijing is on the Airport Express train which takes around 30 minutes.
Beijing Nanyuan Airport is the secondary airport serving Beijing which will continue in this capacity until the opening of Beijing’s new airport, Beijing Daxing International Airport. Once this new airport is open Beijing Nanyuan Airport will eventually stop offering commercial flights and operations will move to the new airport. Whilst staying at the airport you will find all of the basic amenities and services you would need whether its somewhere to grab a bite to eat or shops to browse through.
