Travelers can catch flights from Cairo from Cairo International Airport to Dubai with EgyptAir and Emirates. Be advised that all flights land at Dubai International Airport, not to be confused with the newer Al Maktoum International Airport.

Airport Information - Arriving

Dubai International Airport is home to a vast range of shops, restaurants and cafes to keep travelers happy. At the airport you can look forward to browsing through the latest designer brands and luxury goods, while duty-free shopping and other general shops are available to pick up everything you need. There are also many different restaurants and cafes available to refuel, or you may want to wait for your flight in one of the airport’s luxurious lounges.

The airport itself consists of three passenger terminals which are all accessible from one another if you need to transfer between flights. You can use the Dubai Metro network to get to and from Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, although in order to get to Terminal 2 you will have to utilize the free shuttle service. Getting into central Dubai is just as easy on the Dubai Metro, while taxis are available outside each terminal if you want a direct route to your destination. Numerous car rental agencies are also available.

Airport Information - Departing

Cairo International Airport is the main airport in Cairo and is made up of three passenger terminals in addition to a recently opened Seasonal Flights Terminal. Getting between terminals is simple as there is a shuttle bus service as well as an automated people mover. At the airport you will find all of the amenities you would need for a pleasant stay including many dining and drinking choices alongside duty free shopping.

What to Expect in Dubai
