Airport Information - Arriving

Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, situated 28 km outside of central Mumbai, is a large airport comprised of two terminals - Terminal 1 is dedicated to domestic operations, while the newer Terminal 2 is the base of international flights and opened up in 2014. The two terminals are around 4 km apart from one another, so if you need to transfer it is best to hop on the free shuttle bus that takes passengers between terminals.

At the airport there are many amenities available for those awaiting flights including shops and restaurants. In the international terminal there is a wide selection of shops ranging from basic travel shops to designer stores in addition to duty free shopping. There are also multiple drinking and dining options available on-site to stay refreshed while waiting for your flight. Upon arriving at the airport there is a small gift store in the Arrivals section to pick up any travel necessities you may have forgotten to bring. Car rental is available at the airport.

Airport Information - Departing

Dubai International Airport is one of the world’s leading airports offering state-of-the-art facilities and amenities. As well as its vast range of restaurants and shops, the airport is home to many luxurious airport lounges available to those who like to wait for flights in supreme comfort. The airport is the country’s busiest handing over 88 million passengers annually and is not to be mistaken with Al Maktoum International Airport.

Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport are both linked to the Dubai Metro network which makes transferring between terminals a breeze. In addition to this, there is a complimentary shuttle bus which can take you to Terminal 2. Getting from Dubai to the airport is equally straightforward with the Dubai Metro, or you can easily hop in a taxi or catch a local bus instead.

The weather in Mumbai stays warm all year round, although temperatures do drop off over the winter between December and February.
