Airport Information - Arriving

Tokyo Narita International Airport is a large airport offering all of the facilities and amenities you would possibly need. Travelers waiting at the airport won’t be short on things to do whether its shops to browse through or places to eat and drink as the airport offers a sizeable variety of both. Once you have landed at the airport, traveling into the city only takes around 45 minutes on the Skyline network and less than an hour on the Narita Express. Alternatively, you could rent a car at Tokyo Narita International Airport. The airport itself is comprised of three passenger terminals and offers many excellent amenities including free Wi-Fi throughout and numerous airport lounges.

Airport Information - Departing

Osaka Itami Airport, officially named as Osaka International Airport, is the main domestic airport in Osaka housed within a single terminal structure divided into a North and South section. All of the basic facilities and services you would need can be found at the airport including a sizeable selection of places to eat and a few shops to pick up everything you need before your journey. Getting to the airport from central Osaka is possible on the Osaka Monorail if you prefer public transport.

Osaka Kansai International Airport is the main international gateway into Osaka comprised of two terminals. If you need to travel between terminals there is a free shuttle bus service as they are not connected together. At the airport you will find everything you would need for a pleasant stay whether it’s shops to browse through or somewhere to sit down and enjoy a meal while you wait to board your flight. The airport is linked to the city of Osaka by two railway connections so getting there is easy.

What to Expect in Tokyo

Tokyo enjoys hot and sunny summers and mild winters with rainfall at a minimum over winter. The city is served by extensive public transportation systems so you can easily get around and explore the Japanese capital during your visit and there are many interesting neighborhoods and lots of Tokyo hotels to choose from. As you will be flying domestically you won’t need to get a visa but you still need to bring all of your essential travel documents with you including your passport.
