Why Fly with TUIfly

How to Check in

Travelers flying with TUIfly have the option to check-in over the web or do things the old fashioned way at the airport. Checking in online is available from 30 days up to 5 hours before scheduled departure times and enables travelers to print off a boarding pass or receive a mobile boarding pass to an electronic device. Alternatively, it is possible to check-in at the airport, although there is a small fee of 20AED* per passenger for groups smaller than 9 individuals.

Baggage Allowances and Fees

How much baggage you are allowed to check-in will depend on your fare type and cabin class, with those holding Pure Fare tickets not entitled to any checked baggage. Those with a Perfect Fare ticket are allowed up to 20kg of baggage, while Pure Fare travelers have the option to purchase any baggage allowances required. Be advised that baggage prices are far cheaper when purchasing online compared to the rates offered at the airport. In addition to checked baggage, all passengers are allowed to bring hand baggage on board no larger than 55cm x 40cm x 20cm or heavier than 6kg as well as a personal item such as a handbag free of charge. Be advised that excess baggage fees apply to those who exceed their allowance.

There are a range of seating options available to passengers traveling with TUIfly which can be pre-purchased during the booking or online check-in process. The options include pre-selecting a standard seat, front-seat, XL-seat and comfort-seat to suit your needs. Those in a comfort-seat can enjoy up to 11cm more legroom, while in XL-seats you can really stretch out with up to 23cm of additional legroom. The prices for each seat vary according to your destination - check on the airline’s website for more detailed information about prices on your flight.

Booking Fees

There are no hidden fees or charges applicable when booking flights with TUIfly. However, be advised that those on a Pure Fare will need to pay additional fees if looking to check-in baggage, while checking in at the airport may incur an additional fee of 20AED* per passenger.
