Why You Should Visit Singapore
As a modern metropolis offering a unique blend of world-class shops, restaurants and attractions alongside humble street markets and food vendors, Singapore is a place with something to offer everyone. The country is one of the world’s most prosperous and this is reflected in its colorful skyscrapers, state-of-the-art shopping centers and world-class cultural institutions. As well as its many modern delights, Singapore is also known as The Garden City due its copious parks, trees and green areas. Despite its reputation as a highly-developed city state, there are a surprising range of outdoor opportunities such as a visit to the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve or the island of Pulau Ubin which retains much of Singapore’s rural charm. There's so much to do in Singapore, so we made a list of must-visits to help you out.
When to visit Singapore
The Singapore weather remains consistently excellent all year round, with temperatures staying pleasantly warm throughout the year. The rainiest period of the year falls between November and January and the country also experiences the least monthly hours of sunshine around this period too. As a busy city that sees a lot of visitors all year round, there isn’t really an ideal time to visit other than avoiding the rain. However, be advised that some holidays such as Chinese New Year can be extremely busy and it may be easier to find cheap flights to Singapore on other dates.
