Arriving in Bahrain
Bahrain International Airport is Bahrain’s primary airport located just 7 km outside of Manama. The airport itself consists of two passenger terminals and offers a huge variety of facilities such as cafés, restaurants and duty-free shopping. The most popular way for travelers to get into the city from the airport is by taxi, although you can find numerous car rental agencies at Bahrain International Airport if you would rather drive your own vehicle around.
If you are looking to catch flights from the UAE to Bahrain there are plenty of airlines providing flights from Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Travelers flying out of Abu Dhabi can catch flights with Etihad Airways and Gulf Air, while visitors based in Dubai can travel with Cathay Pacific, Emirates, flydubai and Gulf Air. Additionally, it is also possible to catch flights to Bahrain from Sharjah with Air Arabia.

Bahrain Travel Information
UAE travelers will not need a visa in order to enter Bahrain, although you will still need to bring along a national ID card. In Bahrain the weather is very hot over the summer with highs of around 38 degrees, so you may want to visit during the winter period between November and March if you want to avoid the heat. There are public buses available in Bahrain that can take you around the city, although you may want to rent a car at the airport if you are unfamiliar with local bus routes.
