One of Bahrain’s most famous annual events is the Bahrain Grand Prix F1 race every April at the Bahrain International Circuit, bringing in thousands from all over the globe. Cultural enthusiasts will be interested in the Al-Fateh Mosque, also known as the Grand Mosque, a beautiful architectural gem in Manama. Although much of Bahrain’s allure revolves around its capital, Manama, there is much to do for those wishing to venture further afield. Bird watching in the Hawar Islands is popular with both locals and visitors owing to its thriving collection of avian species, while thrill-seekers can enjoy scuba diving just off the coast and horse riding out in the desert.
