Airport Information - Arriving
Rome Fiumicino Airport is located around 35 km from Rome and is home to four passenger terminals. When your flight has landed at the airport there are a few ways that you can travel into Rome including by train or bus if you would rather not take a taxi. During your time at the airport you can look forward to browsing through many of the world’s leading luxury and designer brands as well as extensive duty-free shopping. Turin Airport, known also as Turin-Caselle Airport, is situated roughly 15 km outside of Turin and is linked to the city by bus or train. The airport itself offers all of the basic amenities you would expect so you will be able to find everything you need before flying out. As well as retail and duty-free shopping to pick up some last-minute gifts, the airport is home to a decent selection of restaurants and cafés to satisfy your appetite. What to Expect in Rome
In Rome the weather is hotter than Turin over the summer with highs of around 30 degrees to be expected, while things don’t quite get as cold during the winter as they do in Turin. From old to new and budget to luxury, there are plenty of hotels in Rome and you're sure to find somewhere to suit your needs. Given that you are flying on a domestic route, you won’t need to arrange a visa before catching your flight, although you will still have to present a valid passport in order to board.
