Why Fly with Copa

How to Check in

Passengers on Copa Airlines flights are able to check-in either online from the convenience of your own home or at the airport. Those checking in online are able to do so from 36 hours up to 1 hour before flights, except flights to the USA which open 24 hours before departure times. Travelers are able to either print off a boarding pass or receive a mobile boarding pass. Alternatively, do things the old fashioned way by checking in at a Copa check-in counter at the airport. The airline advises all passengers on international flights to arrive at a check-in counter at least 3 hours before departure.

Baggage Allowances and Fees

Copa allow passengers to check-in baggage as part of the fare, although baggage allowances vary according to your flight. Be sure to check directly with the airline for accurate information about your flight route. In addition to this, passengers are also able to bring hand baggage on flights free of charge. Regular passengers are permitted to bring one item up to 10kg on board, while in Business Class this is increased to two items up to 10kg each.

Copa Airlines flights offer a regular Economy Class alongside a premium Business Class for those who enjoy traveling in style. In Economy Class passengers are afforded ample legroom with a seat pitch of 31 inches, while in Business Class this is increased to 38-50 inches.

Booking Fees

There are no hidden fees or charges applicable when booking flights with Copa. However, be advised that a small administrative fee applies per person when booking tickets at a Copa sales office - the fee varies according to your country of purchase.
