Why Fly with Tiger Airways

How to Check In

Passengers flying with Tiger Airways are able to check-in online or do things the old fashioned way by checking in at the airport. The web check-in tool is open from 72 hours up to 2 hours (1 hour for certain flights) before scheduled departure times. All travelers checking in online will need to be able to print off a boarding pass before arriving at the airport in order to get on your flight. Alternatively, checking in at the airport is just as simple - the airline recommends that passengers arrive at a Tiger Airways check-in counter at least 2 hours before departure, while counters close 45 minutes before flights.

Baggage Allowances and Fees

All passengers on Tiger Airways flights are allowed to bring cabin baggage, although anyone wishing to check in baggage will need to pay an additional fee as this is not included in the fare price. All cabin baggage taken on board must not exceed 54cm x 38cm x 23cm or 7kgs, while there is a limit of two items per passenger. Any cabin baggage that exceeds your allowance will be subject to additional charges which vary according to the length of your flight. Those needing to check-in baggage can organize payment during the booking stage, online check-in or at the airport. Travelers should be advised that prices are lowest when purchasing at the booking stage.

Seating

When booking your fare, a seat will automatically be allocated unless you choose to select a preferred seat. Prices for seats differ according to your flight and will be added to your ticket price. There is the option to refrain from selecting any seat which will remove the small additional charge that comes with selecting a seat. Passengers also have the option to purchase a seat for any existing booking after you have paid for your fare. Standard seats on Tiger Airways flights offer a seat pitch of 30 inches, although certain preferred seats on board offer additional legroom. On board flights, passengers are able to purchase food and refreshments from the on-board menu.

Booking Fees

Any payable fees and charges are made clear to passengers during the booking process, while those booking with a credit card will need to pay an additional fee of around 25AED*.
