The main airport in New York is New York JFK Airport located 20km from the city center. Four airlines operate direct flights from London Heathrow Airport to New York JFK Airport - American Airlines, British Airways, Delta Air Lines and Virgin Atlantic. Once you have arrived at the airport you can get into central New York on the JFK AirTrain or find a taxi outside any terminal to reach your destination directly. London Heathrow Airport is the main airport serving London and also Europe’s busiest airport serving over 75 million passengers a year. The airport has four operational passenger terminals which are all connected by train so you can easily transfer between terminals. At the airport you will find a huge selection of amenities and facilities so you won’t be short on things to do. In addition to its wide range of shops which offer everything you would need including duty free goods, the airport also boasts a large number of dining and drinking establishments serving up everything from quick snacks and fast food to high-end cuisine. The fastest way to reach London Heathrow Airport from central London is on the Heathrow Express from Paddington Station which takes just 15 minutes.
What to Expect in New York
The weather varies considerably in New York depending on the time of year as the city enjoys hot summers and experiences cold and snowy winters.
