Airport Information - Arriving
Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport is Thailand’s busiest airport located 25 km outside of the city. The airport is home to one of the world’s largest terminal buildings and is relatively new having been inaugurated in 2006. At the airport you can find a large selection of amenities and facilities whether it’s duty-free shopping or enjoying a meal or a drink at one of the many restaurants and cafes available. The airport is linked to central Bangkok on the Airport Rail Link network which takes just 25 minutes. You can also rent a car in Bangkok if you plan on traveling further afield.
Don Mueang International Airport was previously the primary airport serving Bangkok before the construction of Suvarnabhumi Airport and underwent a large renovation project in 2007 to update its facilities and amenities. At the airport you will find everything you need to have a pleasant stay including many restaurants and cafes. Although you can get a public train to get around Bangkok, many opt for the directness of a taxi which can be flagged down just outside the airport.
Airport Information - Departing
Phuket International Airport is the main gateway onto the island. The airport itself consists of two passenger terminals which are located next to one another if you need to transfer.
